The Silvershot Vineyard is run by Jim and Bill Fisher, the father and uncle of our former assistant winemaker, Jim Fisher Jr. We have been using it in our Willamette Valley Pinot Noir blend since 2019, where the dark rich flavors bring balance to the bright, red flavors of our estate vineyard. This is the first time we’ve bottled it as a single vineyard wine. Smaller berries than any of our other pinot noir, which creates rich texture, concentrated flavors, and firm tannins. We use a heavier toast on our estate oak barrels to compliment the intensity of this wine.
