2020 Willamette Valley Rosé
A base of Carbonic Pinot Noir was blended with a barrel of tempranillo rosé, to give the wine bright red fruit aromas, while skin contact pinot gris adds soft texture and peachy flavors. Soft and delicate like cotton candy, it's a great wine to drink on your porch with your friends at sunset.
We start with carbonic maceration of pinot noir, to extract bright red fruit flavors from the pinot noir and kick off a wild fermentation. After that we add whole cluster fermented pinot gris to give the wine texture, rosé tempranillo to give the wine extra fruit, and red pinot noir to give the wine more color and depth. It’s a long complex evolution to create a wine that is fruity and fun.
